Over the years SURMAC has discovered that ill-fitting, damaged, or poorly-maintained parapet caps are a major source of water infiltration into buildings. Rain can blow into such a parapet cap and travel behind wall panels, enter the window frame system, and migrate from floor to floor. SURMAC fabricates and installs new or replacement parapet caps, and repairs caps that though properly fitted, have penetrations that allow the entry of water. |
