There are numerous incentive programs available to building owners who choose to adopt green strategies for their facilities.  In addition to national programs such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), a program sponsored and administered by the U.S. Green Building Council, there also exist state and power company programs that vary by locale. 

Although SURMAC does not undertake to render legal or tax advice, we do assist clients in assessing whether a SURMAC project qualifies for green incentives and applying for any available incentives.  For example, reflective roof membranes and coatings that result in a so-called cool roof often are incentivized.
